Description

The Southworth PalletPal 360 Airbag Pallet Positioner is an ergonomic, pneumatic pallet handling system which automatically maintains a comfortable, waist-level load height to ensure operator safety. The PalletPal 360 Airbag utilizes a heavy-duty, inflatable airbag to raise or lower pallet loads as boxes are unloaded or loaded, preventing the operator from needing to bend over or stretch to access the boxes. Although this unit utilizes an airbag, it also contains a small spring, ensuring a virtually linear response and providing additional safety by supporting the pallet in the event of accidental air loss from the airbag. The PalletPal 360 AirBag features a fully rotating, 360˚ turntable, allowing the operator to access the boxes from one stationary position and eliminating unnecessary walking. It also contains all its components within the turntable diameter, creating no protrusions to limit accessibility and allowing the operator to access the pallet from any position. Once inflated, the machine can be disconnected from the air supply, and the unit’s no electrical requirements and its fork channels allow for easy relocation by forklift. This airbag unit is most properly suited for loads which vary widely and which change frequently.
