Description

The Phoenix E2 Electronic Water Activated Tape Dispenser with Photo-Eye is a durable paper taping system that contains all the benefits of the Phoenix E1, while also containing a photo eye for hands-free dispensing. The E2 automatically dispenses tape when the operator pushes a size button on the electronic keypad, which contains sizes from 6-45”. Its photo eye also allows it to repeat the same size tape with a wave of the user’s hand, minimizing labor time. Like the E1, the triple brush head system properly wets the tape, while the adjustable top heater heats the tape to optimize the adhesion to the carton. This machine can hold up to 900’ long rolls of tape, reducing necessary down-time, and its dispensing speed of up to 48” of tape per second helps maximize production, while still minimizing material use through efficient tape use. The E2 is best suited for medium to high volume operations that tape seal at least 40 cases per day and repeatedly use the same tape sizes.
